Pretty Boxes

I wish these sorts of things didn’t entertain me, but they do.

Make sure you scroll over the boxes, since they tell you things, like my masculinity score (ha), my extrovert score, & best of all, my trust score.

Like I said, entertaining. Click on the “Reserved Inventor” text to go take it yourself.

(thanks to the newly-found blog of java for the link.)

(I took it twice.)

Update – here’s Betty’s:

(which explains, at least to me, why we work together so well.)

  1. I am supposedly a “generous dreamer” with very high femininity, slightly high spontaneity, slightly high attention to style, average empathy [hey, that’s not right!], average trust, slightly low extroversion, low confidence, low masculinity, slightly aesthetic, low agency, low openness, slightly imaginative, and low authoritarianism.

  2. Fun test! I’m an “Animated Leader”. Very high confidence, trust, and agency. Slightly high extroversion, feminity, and openess. I am functional and earthy with average masculinity and empathy (HEY, HEY,HEY!!!). I have a low attention to style, spontenaity, and almost non-existatant authoritarianism.

I, too, was surprised by my “average empathy” rating. I’ve always considered myself to be a “caring nurturer”. I probably just got over the co-dependency of my youth. Or maybe I just don’t care anymore.

  3. It is interesting to see how balanced Betty is! My color blocks come in lots of different sizes, with quite a few tiny boxes. Betty doesn’t have any really small boxes. I assume this means she’s balanced. (?)
Yours looks more like mine, with some pretty big areas and some real low ratings in a place or two. Hmmmm.
    Yes, very entertaining. 🙂

  4. I wonder what the icon and title is for the “got bored 1/2 way through and never finished” kind of person. Cause that’s what I am….

Although I kind of liked the little “fill up the bar graphs from a big contaner” graphical widgety things.

  5. Good to see that no one here takes this for anything more than it is, which is an amusing toy that has practically zero in the objectivity and reliability departments. They say it was developed by a “team of professional psychiatrists” but elaborate no farther. Haw!

Now, if I wanted to be a troublemaker (which I sometimes have trouble restraining myself from becoming), I could counter javabear’s post by pointing out that betty’s profile has only 11 boxes to helen’s 13: maybe she’s just simpler. Oops. Teasing.

For the record, I’m a thirteen-boxed considerate artist.
