I think the Franz Ferdinand is one of the sexiest songs I’ve heard lately – you know you know you know you’re so sweetly is delivered with a lovely rasp – and Cherry Lips is the classic straight grrl appreciation of MTF fabulousness. Enjoy.
Two Tune Tuesday: Gendery Songs
Yay! Cherry Lips is one of my faves! It’s such a shame that that album was released on Sep. 11, 2001. It was an amazing album, but no one wanted to hear upbeat music anymore (not to mention that it’s release was totally screwed by all the fuss over the 9/11 stuff).
Waited for years for album to release their next album, but because of Beautiful Garbage’s poor sales, Garbage figured that people wanted the old sound back.
You’ve got good taste in music, Helen.
