On my desk, on my envelope full of proof pages, and about as tired as I am of editing.
Food Makes Friends
I have noticed that they have great respect for each other’s tails. They never chase them, or bite them, or swat them, even. But I thought this was especially cool.
In My Arms
Endymion, sitting on me while I’m on the couch. He was on his way to somewhere else; I was just a convenient jumping off pad. If you’ve never had a 20 lb. cat use your abdomen as a jumping off pad, trust me, you’re not missing out.
Ringtail
Sometimes Aurora comes to visit me when I’m trying to work, and doesn’t seem to notice she’s called at a bad time.
Her Orangeness
Aurora, closeup.
Three Cats
This is still a rarity; mostly Aurora prefers the couch to herself. And gets it.
Stealth
Aurora’s version of camouflage, or A Study in Orange.
Especially Stripey
She has a tendency to sleep on Betty’s chair whenever Betty isn’t around, and sometimes when she is. I think she prefers it because she looks especially stripey on a plain black background.
Get Well Waffles
Our boys (and us) wish you well, Waffles. Aurora is sending you some tough tabby vibes, in case you don’t have enough of your own.
With Those Legs, No Wonder
Big Endymion’s favorite spot: Betty’s long legs.
